First conceived in the mid-90s and Golden Era of Hip Hop influenced by STREET FASHION Music, Skateboard, Car and Motorcycle culture, Product of the Streets operated mainly underground remaining one of Harlem Undergrounds best kept secrets only catering to a select few of Elite clientele selling mainly Limited-Edition pieces T-shirt Sweatshirts and Hoodies. That was then this is now, we now feel it’s time to bring our Brand mainstream expand our catalog merchandise, as we offer a complete line of high end elite Fashion and Accessories adorning the world know logo synonymous with stomping out negativity and stepping  in the right direction  The streets influence the Environment , the environment influences the Economy , the Economy influences Society ,Society influences  The Culture ,The Culture Influences Humanity,  Therefore we are all Products of the Streets. It is this intricate connection the brings us together on our journey as we take steps in the right direction to make the World a better place, It is from this place I draw my inspiration. We are all connected by the Energy of the Streets, If you started with nothing but are determined to have something, if you refuse to quit until what you set out to finish is complete, if your still standing against all odds steady pushing forward for your prize that awaits you if you have faith that you can achieve anything you set your mind to with hard work perseverance and a burning desire …you are a Product of the Streets. It was once said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. We the Developers of the Product of the Streets Brand pose the question …what will you do after you’ve reached your destination? Then we more so importantly encourage you to “STEP UP AND BE SOMBODY” if you only live once on this Planet “LEAVE YOUR MARK”.

 Maineie Brown Eyes was born to a single teenage mother in Harlem Hospital through blood, sweat and tears, raised on the Westside New York City’s Uptown section of Manhattan a few blocks up the street from the World-Famous Rucker Park across the street from The Polo Ground Projects. But it was on 151st and Bradhurst Ave where he learned early about Community, The Streets, hustling to survive and life in the Fastlane. At age 5 he would often do money drops and pickups for the neighborhood Gangsters who made sure the neighborhood was eating, learning at a very early age the value of a dollar along with the Humanity, Moral s and Values Loyalty, Honor and Respect. Although he was raised on the west side by his Mother, Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that was more like Brothers he grew up on the East sides  El Barrio in Wagner Projects where he spent a lot of time with his other Grandmother who was a fashionista and  hat maker mentored by the late great Niomi Sims when he wasn’t running With the wolf pack i  could often be found in the mazes of my imagination as I would often find my peace and refuge from the mean city streets through my love of drawing and creativity. With Pleasant ave on one side aka Little Italy and 1st ave on the other side, made up the natural crossroads where Spanish Harlem and Italian Harlem come together. A place of both privilege and poverty. I’ve seen the grass from both sides of the Streets, knowing what it is to have and to have not. It is this eclectic cultural exposure that helped to shape, inform, and inspire my Creativity, Vision, and Passion for Art and Design which would later become the pillars of the brand the world will know as the Product of the Streets Clothing Company
